Our Mission
Introduction
Who are we and what do we do? In plain language, we help you -- agencies and organizations -- identify job applicants who are apt to be better matches for positions. At Professional Leverage, Incorporated (PLI), we also help develop, train, and promote your current employees, increasing the success of your human resources. We are human resource specialists, focusing on the selection and development of your staff.
What makes us different? We know that other professionals and organizations promise similar types of service. However, as the truism goes, "People may not believe what you say, but they will always believe what you do." We at PLI follow through on commitments, deadlines, and performance goals with real time results. Another example of our client service-driven philosophy is we come to you. Individuals whom you ask us to evaluate or work with, including job applicants and current employees, will be tested and interviewed at your location site. This on-site benefit allows you to receive more rapid feedback, to incorporate the evaluation into other aspects of your hiring process, and to gain a more accurate appraisal of an individual since we are able to see the unique demands of your work environment.
Our services include employment evaluations, performance coaching, training seminars, and a variety of client-specific organizational development projects. We aim to positively affect your bottom line by specializing in pre-employment evaluations of job applicants, helping the hiring authority to identify those individuals who are a stronger match for the required duties of a position, assessing the strengths along with developmental needs of current employees, and coaching employees through the training process. High rates of employee turnover, employee misconduct, and "burn out" are a few of the problems we help you combat.
At PLI, we build long-term relationships with our clients. By blending knowledge and expertise in public safety, business, the laws of human behavior, and psychology, the performance of a person's and agency's intellectual capital -- the knowledge that gives your group a competitive advantage -- is more successfully leveraged.
